1. Who handles your information
PitchNexus is responsible for the information handled through its website and account features. For privacy questions or requests, contact Legal@PitchNexusSoccer.com.
2. Information we receive
- Account information: email address, display name, a protected password hash, account creation details, email preferences and authentication records.
- Your selections: teams and clubs you follow, generated weekly report content, saved report history and email delivery records.
- Issue reports and correspondence: the affected page or record, issue category, description, proposed correction, optional supporting link and contact email, any associated account identifier, and review history.
- Technical information: requests, IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, response status and security diagnostics that our service or infrastructure providers may receive. Rate-limiting records use hashed IP-address or email identifiers.
- Public sports records: source-published team and club names, age categories, competitions, fixtures, results, venues, crests and derived statistics. Source names or submitted text can sometimes identify a person; being publicly available does not remove applicable privacy rights.
3. Why we use information
We use account and selection information to provide sign-in, favorites and requested reports; contact information to deliver service messages and respond; reports to investigate accuracy; and technical records to maintain security and availability. We use published competition records to provide profiles, results, rankings and statistical predictions.
Where a legal basis is required, the relevant basis is providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in running a secure and accurate information service, compliance with applicable legal obligations, or consent where the law requires it. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
4. Emails and your choices
The weekly-email preference is displayed at signup and in your account. It is currently enabled initially in the registration form; you may turn it off before registration or afterward in account settings. You can also use the unsubscribe link in a weekly email. Password-reset messages you request are separate from weekly reports.
Emails are delivered through our email provider, currently Brevo. That provider receives recipient details, message content and delivery information needed to send messages. Our application does not add advertising pixels to reports. Email clients and providers may process message images and delivery information under their own practices.
5. Cookies and browser storage
| Item | Purpose | Duration or control |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Sign-in, request protection and safe use of account or reporting features, including anonymous sessions. | Normally up to 30 days for a signed-in session or one hour for an anonymous session. Signing out clears the current session cookie. |
| Country and language preferences | Remember the selected dataset and display language. | Session cookies and local browser storage. Local preferences remain until changed or cleared in the browser. |
| Pending favorite | Remember a follow selection while you sign in. | Tab-session storage; removed when processed or when the tab session ends. |
| Infrastructure cookies, if set | Security, routing and delivery by providers such as Cloudflare. | Provider-managed; depends on the feature in use. |
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, safe form submission or saved preferences. The current application does not use third-party advertising or marketing-analytics scripts. Operational traffic and security processing by infrastructure providers is separate.
6. Who may receive information
Authorized PitchNexus administrators can access information needed to operate accounts, respond to requests and review issues. Hosting, security and delivery providers, including Cloudflare and Brevo, process information required for their services. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security.
We do not sell account information or use it for targeted advertising. Favorites, account details and issue-report contact information are not public listings. Public sports pages remain visible to others, and a verified correction may be reflected in public records.
Some source images are loaded from external image hosts. Those hosts may receive your IP address and browser request information when an image loads. Social links and sharing tools send you to outside services; if you choose to share, the destination receives the content you select.
7. Retention and account deletion
Account information and favorites are retained while your account remains active. The account settings provide deletion of your account and its associated favorites, sessions and stored report records. Separate issue-report records and public sports history are not automatically deleted with an account.
Scheduled housekeeping removes expired session and token records, saved reports older than 180 days, and sent or cancelled email-outbox records older than 90 days. This is scheduled housekeeping, not a promise of deletion at the exact expiry moment; pending or unresolved delivery records can remain for operational review.
Issue reports are retained for investigation and correction history and currently have no automatic fixed deletion date. We assess deletion requests against those purposes and applicable obligations. Operational records, correspondence and backup copies may remain where needed for security, recovery or legal duties. Public competition history is retained to support historical statistics, subject to applicable rights and accuracy review.
8. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of processing, or object to certain uses. Contact our legal email and identify the relevant account or record without sending a password. We may need proportionate verification before acting. Some requests have legal exceptions; we will explain a refusal when required.
You can also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. For Spain, information is available from the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. See the EU privacy-rights guide.
9. Youth soccer and children’s information
The website describes youth competitions, but its account and submission features are intended for adults. A parent or guardian should manage those features for a child. Children should not create an account or send personal information through our forms.
Do not include a child’s home address, date of birth, medical information or other unnecessary identifying details in an issue report. If you believe we hold inappropriate personal information about a child, contact our legal email so we can investigate and address it. We do not operate a verified parental-consent registration program.
10. Security and processing locations
We use safeguards such as encrypted web connections, password hashing, protected session cookies and restricted access to private account and issue records. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep passwords and account links confidential and tell us about suspected unauthorized access.
Information may be processed in the United States or countries where our providers operate, including outside your home country. Contact us for information about the processing locations and transfer protections applicable to your information. Applicable cross-border privacy requirements remain in force.
11. Statistical analysis
For basic site analytics, we count successful page visits by mobile or desktop device, including repeat visits and page refreshes. The analytics database stores only dates and aggregate counts, with access restricted to the site owner. It does not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses or browser strings. This measurement adds no cookies or browser storage, is not linked to accounts, and honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Known bots and background requests for APIs or assets are excluded.
Rankings and match predictions use recorded team and competition information to generate estimates. They do not determine account eligibility or make decisions about an individual child’s education, selection, employment or legal rights. They should not be used as the sole basis for consequential decisions about a person.
12. Updates and contact
We will update this notice when our practices change and provide additional notice or obtain permission where the law requires it. The last-updated date identifies the current version.
For a privacy request, contact PitchNexus at Legal@PitchNexusSoccer.com. Please do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive data.
